Why President Obama Condescending Us Black People and Why Black Media Apologizing on Our Behalf?
President Barack Obama has been straight tripping lately when it comes to Black people. Maybe we Black folks don’t have enough money as Hollywood liberals or we don’t have influence like AIPAC but for some reason, President Obama is straight condescending his most loyal base of supporters and putting his own re-election in jeopardy if he keeps this crap up.
First President Obama is at the Urban League telling Black kids that they goofing off and watching Real Housewives or whatever:
First of all, those statements are not true as they hanging out and getting over in Asia just as much as brothas and sistas here in America. Even further, these cats are not only playing video games in Asia, these cats are playing video games to death overseas:
How many Black people your ass know died from playing a video game 40 hours straight? I heard of cats shooting each other over a video game but not playing the game until they kill over and die. So why would the first Black president makes these kind of comment to our children, our young special seeds, our future, our precious little children? Why President Obama, why?!
Then in Black Enterprise, when asked about not helping Black businesses, this was President Barack Obama response
Question: How do you respond to criticism that your administration hasn’t done enough to support black businesses?
President Obama: …..I’m not the president of black America. I’m the president of the United States of America……
Now where the hell that Freudian slip come from? We were talking about something called empowerment zones that George W Bush has put into place but President Obama did not follow up on and allow to expire. I’m not going to mention anything about Shorebank and the only businesses I saw going up was fast food franchises in Black neighborhoods instead of organic Black-owned businesses in our community.
Then we got Biden making this comment sounding like a condescending White person scaring the docile Black audience to vote Democrat out of fear:
Oh my God, they are going to put us back in chains! I got to go run out and vote Democrat or they going to put us back in chains! Okay, I’m beginning to notice a pattern here and something else.
What I’m noticing is there are some Black people in the media running around apologizing for President Obama antics and even apologizing for Joe Biden antics. I don’t appreciate what Joe Biden was doing – he knew damn well he was mocking slavery when he made that statement. And I don’t need some damn Al Sharpton or some radio talk show host or someone on the HuffingtonPost or whatever trying to tell me and you that these antics are not offensive coming from the Obama camp, they are offensive to brothas and sistas.
I’m just letting cats like Al Sharpton and the rest of these Black apologists know, don’t ever talk for me or claim to anybody you speaking on my behalf as a Black person. Personally, you know that if you was around real brothas and sistas, we wouldn’t play that ish and I don’t give a damn who wins in November 2012, don’t ever try to apologize or excuse someone else trying to offend me and my people because yall want to be stool pigeons for the Obama campaign.
But there is a real serious problem here – in 2008, President Obama won key states due to the high Black voter turnout and in most of those states, President Obama won by about a few thousand votes. Now me and you cats reading this, we can call ourselves good or whatever in terms of how we living but it is a whole lot of Black people, in fact the majority of Black people who turned out and voted for Obama in 2008 who ain’t doing good and ain’t got a voice in the mainstream media. These Blacks are the ones who Obama is offending and crapping on which is why I’m puzzled.
See, yall can pretend all you want President Obama got this election all wrapped up – yall thought that same ish about Al Gore in case your ass forget, homey. You got a GOP base that is well organized, out-raising Obama in money, coming together on issues such as gay marriage and immigration and healthcare reform but some of yall thinking posting pictures of the first couple on Facebook is supposed to increase the number of voters.
I don’t see cats in the streets pushing Obama t-shirts like they were in 2008. I’m seeing a lot of brothas and sistas mad at President Obama forsaking Black people without a voice and keep saying he is not the President of Black America. Obama will never go to AIPAC and say he is not the President of Jewish Amerca but he have the nerve to say this about his most loyal voting base. And the Black vote ain’t some boule crap – those are real Black folks in real Black communities that President Obama is messing with.
If President Obama keeps all this condescending crap up against Black voters, real Black folks instead of being the president of Black America then he going to be in a surprise this November and some of yall going to be in a shock of your life, real talk.

Why do brothers and sisters take this route? Why? If you screw over your base, you can never sustain a win. Ever. Other folks might use you, but they will lose respect for you. Doesn’t anyone get the connection between the lack of respect that the media/other leaders show for President Obama and the lack of respect he periodically shows us?
With the voter suppression efforts, unbelievable unemployment and disenfranchisement in our communities, I would not be surprised if Romney-Ryan win. Pres. Obama cannot win without strong African American support but he doesn’t act like it. The sad question is, would things be that much different for black communities with a Romney-Ryan? I have to go back to Eazy-E, “waiting on [the mayor] I’d better help myself.”
If we let a pdycho zealot like Mitt Romney win we’re screwed. Definitely going to be a hard one with all these voter Id laws. And now the Gop is so shady their having urban young black Americans give out polls to people in Cali for “Lower taxes” and “Legal Marijuana” only to find out once you’re finish signing you secretly have signed up and registered as a Republican. Dirty bastards.
Joe, that is the same tactic as dating someone who keep trying to scare you about the other people out there who ain’t no good either to justify why they ain’t treating you right either.
I don’t want nobody around treating Blacks with disrespect, pissing on their head and calling it rain. Like Malcolm X said, I have more respect for someone that explicitly hates me than a sheep in a wolf clothing implicitly hating me.
Scaring Black folks with the thought of Mitt Romney when Black folks are catching real hell in this economy is not a wise or effective strategy. It ain’t going work.
To answer your question: he keeps doing it because (judging by our actions) Black folks (in general) like to be condescended and disrespected. Hell just look at the massive number of us sitting up in a church every Sunday still practicing a religion that was used to keep us enslaved. If that ain’t proof enough that we love getting dissed, then look around at the condition of a typical Black community as a direct result of our child-like relationship with politics.
White racists – I mean conservatives – hate Obama because, though his policies are exactly like Bush, he’s black. (Many) Black people love Obama because, though his policies are exactly like Bush, he’s black.
I’m a white, heterosexual, AMERICAN, male. I find it intriguing that for the last 30+ years the Democratic party has used the frayed and worn out race baiting card to initiate the minority support of their party. Have things really gotten better? MSNBC went to their commentators when the GOP profiled success stories of immigrant and minority businessmen and women. Success stories that told of PEOPLE working hard, fighting the odds and creating their own American dream. I’m not wealthy. I could care less about race. One of my good friends is a man from Ghana who came to America, worked as a stockboy WITH me, went to college and now works for a non-profit. It’s the media like MSNBC who put fear into the minority vote saying things like “those Republicans, they’re all racist, bigots who are rich and don’t want you to succeed in life.” The truth is that those Republican chear for those that work hard, pick themselves up by the boot straps and bust their butt to put food on the table and make their childrens lives easier than what they had when they were children. Take a look at YOUR life. And when I say your, I mean White, Black, Latino, Jewish, French, whatever your heritage might be and ask yourself that when you go to sleep everynight, did you do everything you could that day to make yourself successful. Majority of the people out there could care less what your heritage is. What they probably care about is whether you will work hard, show up to work on time every day, be positive, contribute, and be a success story. I’ve worked extremely hard trying to make it over the last 20 years since I got my first job at the age of 15. My parents said you’re either going to work or play sports. I did both. I put myself through college working 30-40 hours a week. I’ve not worked less than 50hrs a week since I graduated. I don’t complain. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve had successful moments. The point is that Ed in the above post hit the nail on the head. Barrack Obama was able to get elected in 2008 on the pre-conceived notion that he was going to rescue the lower and middle classes. All I’ve seen him do is bail out big companies and wall street. He and the Democrats passed a 1,000,000,000,000.00 “stimulus” bill that honestly went to paying big companies and educated people to build bridges or to “create” jobs in solar energy. What he should have done is take the trillion dollars and give 50,000.00 to 20 million families who needed it. Instead it went to the big companies building the bridges, roads, etc and ultimately ended up in the owners pockets. Ask yourself honestly what he really did for you over the last 4 years and when you go to vote this year if you want the next 4 to be like the last. Your comments are welcome.
