Well Damn, That QR Code Shopping Ish Got Done Didn’t It?

As you see in less than a week, I was able to look at an article from Dream and Hustle and create a cheap $5USD/month hustle and launch a next generation mobile commerce business at the same damn time. This article shows how brothas and sistas are on some straight BS coming to this Dream and Hustle blog with their lips twisted up like benches instead of having respect for the architect and apply the patterns and practices we present here to get cats to stack paper.

So on Monday, I wrote an article about the top patterns brothas and sistas can take from Asia right now and apply it to our hustle. Only a few cats even acknowledge that article and everybody else stayed quiet. So I sat there and wondering what the heck is wrong with my goddamn readers and do they have a clue what I’m presenting here? There was a section about QR Code Shopping and I said this is a quick and cheap hustle anybody can do. Let’s look at the video for the 5th time I’m putting it on this blog.

I told cats how to do their own intelligence to break down the video and the content and explain that over in Asia, their media breaks down the hustle and explain it to their people. Asian media is nothing like these cornballs here in America trying to brag they know something you don’t know calling themselves tech experts and BS like that. That was enough information for a brotha or sista to take notes and peep the game from screen shots.

The second step was now defining technical requirements and prototyping of the hustle and that was creating a more detailed document of all of the components of the hustle. I used free open source mind-mapping software like Freemind to organize all of the components logically and I mocked up the screens in HTML using dummy code and formatted it to look closely how I want the end product to be.

Then the third step was the actual technical specifications from the database layer to the web layer and execution of hosting on GoDaddy and setting up the environment. This is the technical details that I would have developed to the point I can send the specs out offshore to get cats to develop for me. But guess what – I developed that ish myself the day after I wrote it because I had the clear marching orders on how to make the hustle a reality.

Now, I completed and tested all of the main functionality and this is what I’m going to show today. And guess what I have. I have developed this hustle from the bottom up and now can flip this business model in all kind of directions if I want to. This was done in less than a damn week while some of you are looking at television with nothing but bullsh*t on wasting your time away. Real hustlers hustle, don’t ever forget that. So let’s get into it.

Admin Section

While I didn’t need an admin section, I created one because I realize I might sell this ish on the open market. The only cats I’m going to give this hustle away to are the cats who made comments or liked the article while I was putting in the work, not cats just standing on the sidelines. So don’t even think about emailing a brotha for the code if your ass was lurking in the back – that’s BS that a Black man with talent putting in work and you sitting courtside like a bustard acting like you can’t even acknowledge a baller ball so hard on the court.

So this is the product we are going to hustle on the QR Poster board. The first thing I need is the shop name so let’s call the shop West Side Weaves. So here is the product admin page below:

The first thing I’m going to do is actually upload the image to the web site using the upload form at the top.

Now the second thing which is what I should have done was create the shop that is going to sell this product on the QR poster, so let me click on Manage Shop and fill in the data.

So I click on enter and now the shop should be in the drop down list when it goes back to the main admin. Now I can click on the edit button of the image I just upload and enter the information.

As you see, I selected the shop from the drop-down and entered in the product and price information and also can enter the inventory of the item. That’s all I need to facilitate the sale of the product on the QR code wall and process the transaction and do business. Now when I go back to the edit section with the shop defined and the SKU define, you should notice something else on the page:

Yes, we generated a QR Code based on the SKU, you can scan it if you want but it automatically generates a QR code for that SKU but the release version will scan the whole URL for the mobile device to redirect to. Now what I do from this point is “Save As” the image and the QR code and this is how I make my QR Code Shopping poster. That is all necessary to upload images, fill in the information and generate the QR code and photo to put into a graphic software like free and open source GIMP or Paint.NET over even in OpenOffice Draw and build a QR Shopping poster to send to a printer.

Product Page

Now I got the poster printed of all of the hair weaves for sale and I put the poster up all over the place in Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston at churches, strip clubs, night clubs, bus stations, hair salons and so on – it only cost $15 dollars to print the poster and look at the return of investment if I just get a couple of orders, homey. So when some sista see the QR code poster and see I’m selling a few Remy hair weaves at a discount, she click on the QR code and redirect to the page.

This is what shows up on her mobile phone, just like in the video above. Now, one thing I’m going to do to improve this page is the inventory count will decrease in real-time on the page. See, the way I would hustle these QR code posters would be offer limited run deals with a nice discount to move products and get a repeat customer.

So when she scan the QR code and see this page and see 15 left in inventory, if someone bought one, it will automatically refresh to 14 left on her screen. Then she going to see other people buying it and think it is a good deal and buy into it also. That is not hard and shows you how I can improve my own code by building it myself from scratch. Now when she click on the PayPal page, this is what she gets:

So you see the information posted to PayPal and now the sista can order by Paypal and pay for the product. Once she process the payment, she gets an email, Paypal sends a post to my IPN web page that save all of the incoming data into a database and I also get an email that I made an order and got money coming to my bank account. I also can use my xxxxx@mymetropcs.com to send me a text message that I got paid while I’m at work watching my co-workers listen to Black online streaming radio.

In the admin section, there is a section that shows all of the orders and what people order and who to ship it to. I package the product, generate a UPS Ground tag and get tracking number and ship the product out to the customer as soon as possible and I did a business transaction!

In summary, great hustles come from great planning. The problem why most of yall could not even get at this level of the game I just did is because you didn’t bother to read Dream and Hustle the right way and probably had a two-bit petty issue with me like I give a damn what cats think more than you thinking about how you can do for self and get additional revenue streams going on while the Black unemployment rate is 50%.

See, what separates me from these other cats is obviously nothing get past me and I can pick up on hustle real quick. That’s why I write these blogs to show you the hustles that I found worldwide and bring it to you and show you how we brothas and sistas can apply what works to our own mission to do for self. This is where I really want my readers at where they can read my old articles and any article I write and quickly make moves where by the weekend, they got something they can take to market and start getting paid instead of being like the rest of these broke and busted Black folks sitting around watching reality television waiting around for their job to lay them off.

Let me reiterate, only the cats who gave me respect to acknowledge my QR Shopping hustle during the week by posting comments or liking my articles on FB are the ones who getting this code. What I’m going to do and what the 30 Rotten Dissidents suggested is I sell this code over in Asia and Dubai to let Asian and Arab businesses setup QR Code walls and get that Arab money. So I don’t need to hustle anything to Black folks in America and their stank attitude towards Dream and Hustle and if you cats are smart, you would realize these are the global empire state of mind options you can make for yourself when you can build your hustle from the foundation.
