Our Commitment to Providing Content, Time and Money to Support the JOBS Act
President Obama did his job of proposing economic development job creation legislation and signing it into law. No one can say he didn’t do anything for African-Americans anymore – he did something extremely major for African-Americans with the power and position he is in. Now it’s our turn to follow through and apply the JOBS Act to create real enterprises that can allow us to create enterprises and do for self. The biggest barrier to African-American entrepreneurs moving forward was lack of funding from discriminatory and blatantly bigoted “accredited investors” and now that barrier has been removed, it’s time to make moves.
Dream and Hustle is 100% committed to the JOBS Act as it perfectly align with our mission here to help brothas and sistas become empowered on a real business enterprise level. We were looking for brothas and sistas to create the type of businesses that create jobs and social responsible to the community and allow employees to be direct stakeholders in the success of their company and the JOBS Act accommodates all of those goals.
This blog was already working in the same direction as the JOBS Act but now we got legislation that we can operate our goals more efficiently against and guide is in a solid direction. So with that said, we are going to commit content, time and money to help support brothas and sistas to take advantage of the JOBS Act to do for self. I don’t know what your favorite Black business magazine or hustle blogger is about but we are real about this and now we going to break down how we going to support our own from this point forward.
Content
Now the business model and wikis are more and more important. We are going to document in detail business models and how to launch the hood-based businesses and take advantage of the JOBS Act at the same time. The goal is to have the business models so solid that brothas and sistas can use our wiki entries to help create their presentation and road show packages to offer shares to the public. The location is also extremely important because we can identify markets in the hood so brothas and sistas can create national chains quickly and go public and raise money nationally.
Time
Dream and Hustle is going to put in serious time to make stuff happen. We are going to spend more time researching for you cats, spend personal time with you cats here in Atlanta so we can discuss how to get going and take out time to be there for you to see you get off the ground. That means hands on workshops, popping bottles at the clubs and talking business models and online call-in conferences. We going to spend quality time together and we going to be about getting ours.
Money
I’m personally going invest the maximum amount I can contribute to aggressively invest in any crowdfunded efforts aligned with our goals and vision to create self-empowerment and economic growth in our communities. My other cats are also committed to putting up their money for the same goal. In addition, we will aggressively work our own networks to help invest in ventures brothas and sistas will startup.
Remember, we are not talking lightweight crap we are talking about raising $1 million for cats to launch economic empowerment framework-based business models. Cats who can open a call-center using open source software in a loft in Detroit, cats who can launch an IPTV network in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, London and so on and cats who can create a mobile money network to allow me to pay my barber with my mobile phone and they get a 2.7% off that transaction and do millions of transactions a day.
Summary
We are committed to following through and nothing like these other cornball hustle blogs and Black business magazines that just want to run their mouths and just want you to admire them for not doing anything towards our progress. It’s too many cats that run their mouth in this game and it’s time for us to take real action and put in real work and that’s what we going to do thanks to the provisions written into the JOBS Act.
In addition, while these celebrities and fake Black leaders who got money spent all these years running their mouth, I’m already going to put in money to directly help brothas and sistas start business. I hope many of you join in this effort and let these fake Maybach/Bugatti driving celebrities who spent their time bragging about themselves, show them they forgot where they came from. Now we can support our own people and don’t need to ask any more sold-out athletes or actors or rappers to help our people when they act like we needed them.
Things are looking promising now and it’s going to take a while for some brothas and sistas to fully understand what President Barack Obama did by signing that JOBS Act into law. We already on the move and already committed.
