Yep that’s what happens when lacking sleep. Normally my dreams are premonitions but I had a few dreams that have been out of wack. The first one was me walking down Madison at the corner of Homan. The day was bright,sunny and warm. These men, who all happened to be white getting out of vehicles with rifles and I look around like what’s going on. I know I didn’t do anything wrong. I am standing in front of the original pharmacy and this guy from behind tells me to hit the ground cause they are about to start shooting. So I get down. Do a military style crawl to the building and go up the stairs. I start checking every door but they are all locked and no one is answering. I kept telling myself the people must be at work because no one would not open the door for somebody in dire need. Meanwhile the men are chasing me. Looking specifically for me and they want to kill me. I keep going and I reach the top floor of the building. No answer. Then out of nowhere was an elevator. Of course I get on cause the guys are only a few floors behind. I get on the elevator and the real top floor is a open apartment. Almost like a penthouse. It wasn’t very clean and a red blonde canaan dog was roaming around. At this point the elevator sounds and the men are coming. I attempt to go out the fire escape but I did not want to see my fate in this dream and forced myself to wake up and stay up for a little bit so not to fall back to sleep where I left off. Two days later and still doesn’t make sense.And no I didn’t sleep with the tv on, when I got home that evening I immediately crashed………… Anyway FYI those seeking to operate travel agencies and prepare taxes should know that Jan-April is peek time for both and takes a lot of committment.

You are referencing “consumer credit” not business credit. You build business credit on account payables and revenue and credit should only be used as a bridge loan to expand business operations and nothing.

Please avoid “consumer credit” at all possible.

If this ain’t the truth I don’t know what is. Brothers and Sisters “business rules” found in books generally don’t apply to us. We all know there are some disadvantages to starting a black business but realize there are MAJOR advantages too.

For one being Black gives you a major advantage in Black business. Who knows the Black market better than you? Who understands the wants/needs, risk, rewards better than you? It’s not an accident other cultures sell to Black people it’s because we spend a lot of money. We, for a lot of backward reasons, seem to shun that reality and don’t realize it’s us who are suppose to be on the sells side too not only on the buyer side of a transaction.

The key to successful money making in the 2000′s and beyond is simple- back to basics. We have got to start looking backwards instead of forwards. A lot of cats don’t want to hear this but I’m going there- we own a commercial cleaning business -Shinze Industrial. My husband was “laid off” from Kodak… became a nomad job hunter for 2 years straight- and it finally hit him- entrepreneurship was the way… now I hold down a 9-5 so we had a little “security” during the beginning of the lean days. The business launched in 2008- he started off with 3 small accounts and now he and I have 6 larger corporate office accounts… the income is steady and considered comfortable by today’s standards. My point- HUSTLE hard.. start going back to basic service needs that no one pays attention to due to the WM’s trickery of technology based needs only. I’m not saying commercial cleaning is for everyone but there’s a niche out there for all of us.

Just caught myself doing that side eye thing people talk about. “Friends first” Realy!? Too much time on her hands. I don’t have many “friends” and for good reason. I’ve begin to see folks for who they are a lot faster as of late. There is nothing more that I hate than folks who think your revolves aorund them. Case in point a lady who thought I was going to miss my money waiting on her.
